Michelle Waggoner
DC, CCSP
Dr. Waggoner’s first introduction to chiropractic came at the age of 15, as a young athlete. She found that, together with physical therapy, chiropractic kept her feeling good and kept her competing. When she turned 18 she started working at a chiropractic office where she saw many cases of how chiropractic can help free people from pain and help them recover from injuries without drugs, while preventing unnecessary surgeries. It was these experiences that inspired her to pursue her career in chiropractic.
Dr. Waggoner graduated from University of Western States in June 2006. While in school, she was an active member of the Student American Chiropractic Association which gave her several opportunities to travel to Washington, DC, to lobby for chiropractic friendly legislation. She was also part of the Sports Medicine Club, where she treated athletes at running, cyclocross and boxing events. Shortly after graduation, Dr. Waggoner enrolled in post-graduate education. After 120 hours of courses and an exam, she became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. Since leaving school she has taken courses to become certified in Rock Tape for soft tissue release and mobility.
Dr. Waggoner is married and has four children. Her husband, Aaron, is a music teacher in the Reynolds School District. Their children, Chloe, Sadie, Ashton, and Lucy, keep them busy with volleyball, baseball, and soccer, as well as school and church activities. When she finds some free time, she likes to scrap book, shop, and find good restaurants to eat at.
